You can refine your video and create smooth edits by easily splitting, trimming, and cutting your clips using illusto’s intuitive tools. Here’s how you can do that:

Splitting a Video:

  1. Drag and drop your video clip onto the timeline.
  2. Play the video to the point where you want to split it.
  3. Pause at the desired split point.
  4. Locate the cursor on the timeline where you paused.
  5. Click on the “Cut” icon or press the “C” key.

Trimming a Video:

  1. Drag and drop your video clip onto the timeline.
  2. Hover your cursor over the beginning or end of the clip on the timeline.
  3. Click and drag inward to trim the clip’s start or end point.
  4. Release the mouse when you’ve achieved the desired trim length.

Cutting a Video:

  1. Split the clip at the desired points as outlined in the “Splitting a Video” steps above.
  2. The clip will be divided into two separate segments at the cut point.
  3. You can then delete by clicking on the “Del” icon or rearrange the segments as needed.
